Job Description
The Patient Accounts Department at OSS has a full-time opportunity for an experienced Medical Billing Representative.
A Medical Billing degree and two or more years of Physician Office Medical Billing experience required. Must have a good working knowledge of medical insurances and billing procedures with understanding of HMO, PPO and indemnity plans. Experience with Workers Compensation, Medical Assistance Billing & Collections a must. Must be knowledgeable in website claim status checking, posting of checks, and reviewing EOBs for denials.
The ideal candidate will have excellent computer, phone and customer service skills, be good with numbers, pay close attention to detail and be able to multi-task well. Must be dependable and a team player!
Full-time, 40 hours/week. Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 5:00.
