Job Description
Monitor quantities and assist with ordering supplies for the Central Sterile department within OSS Orthopaedic Hospital. Receive and unpack deliveries. Ensure incoming deliveries are accurate by reconciling packing slip with package contents; report discrepancies appropriately. Ensure compliance with established internal policies and procedures. Assist with turnover of surgical rooms. Maintain surgery board. Back up for instrument room.
2-4 years of basic medical material management/inventory control experience required (Central Sterile experience preferred)
Ability to reconcile basic functions of receiving incoming deliveries. Must be detail-oriented and posses the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Must possess organizational and problem-solving skills. Computer skills a plus for working with a computerized procurement system.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm.
